Our Story
10 percent non-profit was founded based on giving a tenth to the less fortunate. Our tenth can be either financial or in our efforts to the youths in need, the fatherless, and everyone that needs a chance. This is our mission; To care for all people around the world.
10 percent is on a mission to create long-living solutions for underprivileged communities through access to proper nutrition and resources.

01 / DID YOU KNOW?
Many underprivileged communities do not have access to fruits and vegetables that are grown organically and free of harsh chemicals. This leads to consuming foods filled with artificial flavors and chemicals such as Red dye 40; a common color additive in sodas, chips, cereals, gum, candy, and more. Some effects of Red Dye 40 are fidgeting, irritability, and trouble concentrating. These are the result of children often being diagnosed with ADD/ ADHD and on constant medication.
02 / PAIN
There is a direct connection between medications used for ADHD and substance abuse. The addictive effects of ADHD medication have caused kids to become 2 to 3 times more likely to abuse drugs than adolescents who do not. Drug use has become the driving factor behind the spiral rates of violence in our communities.
03 / NUTRITION
Poor nutrition is associated with concentration and learning. Often resulting in episodes of aggression and violence. Our goal is to become the bridge in the process of school-to-prison pipelines, to end the
attachment of drug use, and the decrease in health for our community.
